THE CORPSE BRIDE!
This cake was ordered by Kev's wife as a big surprise for his 40th. A red velvet cake topped with choc ganache and finished off with handmade fondant decorations. The bride & groom topper are the original from their wedding cake as are the two dogs which represent their pets. Note: One foot in the grave! Lots of FUN!!!

Party Time!!
Aidan, my son, had his 10th birthday last week and this week we had his party. It was also the last day of the term for a short 2 week holiday so loads of fun was had by all! The cake is a follow-on to the cuppies that he took to school..

Gorgeous George
I baked this cake for a friend of mine that turned 50. His nickname is "Gorgeous George" so here he is on top of his cake eating a few banana's. It was a 3 layer choc mud cake with a vanilla ganache filling and smoothed in choc ganache.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIRSTY!
Kirsty celebrated her 19th birthday today. She loves going to the gym, so her Mum sent me a pic and asked me to bake her a cake with gym equipment on. Moist vanilla sponge smothered with vanilla ganache and finished off with fondant.

Mrs Loveland, my sons teacher, celebrated her birthday yesterday and each kid in her class gave her a cuppies with themselves on (well not themselves but a fondant head representing themselves!!!) They were all very disappointed that they could not eat the cuppies but Aidan (my son) reassured them that they will all be getting cuppies next week for his birthday.

Woo Hoo!! down we go!!!
Josh had his 10th birthday party at the local water slide. He is sliding down while his two cousins are already in the pool. The pool was a choc mud cake and the slide a moist vanilla smothered with choc ganache and finished off with fondant and handmade decorations. Happy Birthday Josh!!

Dale and Rowina's wedding
Dale and Rowina got married at the beginning of the year at a lovely venue just outside Stellenbosch. The cuppies were moist vanilla topped with a dollop of vanilla ganache and finished off with buttercream and a flower. The top cake was a decadent choc mud cake smothered in choc ganache and finished off with a layer of white fondant and handmade bride and groom birds.
