Ready on the runway....

Vroom vroom.......

Simply but cute little cars and trucks we made to go with the Airplanes in the picture above.

Winnie the Pooh

We've been doing quite a few kiddies parties lately and Winnie the Pooh seems to be rather popular among the tiny folk. We love The Pooh!

Happy Birthday Aimee!

The ladies arrive, are serious for a while, sip their tea and enjoy their cakes........and the photo session starts!  I had to make a promise not to post any pics of girls, they are clearly a bit sensitive at this age but I've snuck in one or two and I'm sure the rest will be all over Facebook soon, lol!
A relaxing day bed for after the festivities and some vintage bags, hats and scarves to remind us of how beautiful and feminine Victorian times where.
French Macarons, mini cupcakes, heartshaped cucumber sandwiches and lamintons where just a few of the eats on offer.  Wrought Iron cake stands and bird cages adourned the food table.  The Birthday cake was a chocolate fudge giant cupcake smothered in chocolate ganache, totally decadent and to die for!

Fit for a Queen.......

The table was set with vintage crockery & cutlery, soft peach roses and homemade lemonade.

Down the Garden Path.......

Monday morning......

We've woken up to a dreary, gray Monday morning after enjoying awesome weather over the weekend!  This time of the year in Cape Town is spectacular and if you ever consider visiting our far away shores try and do so in Autumn or Spring, crystal clear skies, a wisp of wind, perfect temperatures and awesome sunsets, pure heaven!
What a great weekend, between getting our orders out and watching rugby, we celebrated Michelle's daughters 15th Birthday.  It was a Vintage High Tea affair with a photo session courtesy of "Auntie Kim"!.  Of course Vintage High Tea's are what we love so transforming Michelle's garden to into the old English country garden she would so love, but struggles to maintain, thanks to the wippy, salty South Easter, was great fun.  I have to say the teenagers where extremely well behaved and it was lovely to hear them giggling over a cup of tea, very posh indeed!

Cupcake toppers boxed and ready...

This is the box each guest received to decorate their cupcakes. See previous pic for the content of each box....

Cupcake toppers

We were asked to make cupcake toppers for a 12 year olds birthday. The "guests" where given gorgeous aprons, handmade by the Birthday girl then baked their own cupcakes and each one received their own box of cupcake toppers and decorations. We loved the idea and thought it was extremely innovative of this amazing 12 year old!

Winnie the Pooh - Eeyore

As I don't have any girls and Michelle's daughter is all grown up - well, at 15 going on 25, she naturally thinks she is (-: - we always love doing boys cuppies that are cute. I'm sure those of you with sons know how difficult it is to find fun, friendly and NOT boring themes for little boys, although these where for a girl, Eeyore and his friends are fabulous for boys. We just love his personality and hope it reflects in his face.

Baby shower

Our all time favourite cuppies, this design has been used for numerous celebrations but mostly for Baby Showers, in the past we have made them in various colours -fun brights, deep blues & greens and, of course, these gorgeous soft pastels, perfect for little girls.

Happy Mothers Day!

Some Mothers Day cuppies, simple but effective!

Mad Hatters for Tess

Last weekend was pure madness, excuse the pun, not only was it Mothers Day but it seems celebrations of all sorts where taking place, we loved it! These Mad Hatters Cuppies where for a Hen Party, I'm sure mad crazy fun was the order of the day!
